Ethnography: observing the landscape in order to discover ourselves

Ropes, baskets, shoes, scourers. Esparto grass, a plant with spikes that colonizes the landscape, has been an economic motor for this territory. Beyond the rosemary and its culinary use, there are lots of plants that, although today  go unnoticed on the floor  you step on, they facilitated the life of ancestral kitchens and chemists.

The path you ride with your bike is in some sections the Cañada Real (Spanish seasonal migration route of sheep). It was an essential economic resource but nowadays receives more tractors and bikes than sheep.

And the muladar (a disturbing vulture feeder) full of sheep and cow skeletons it is the perfect example or natural reordering. These are just two examples of what you can observe. The comprehension of landscape not only has facilitated our existence but it has ensured it.
