Nature: a surprising semidesertic landscape

From first sight, the attractiveness of this landscape is its desert like beauty. The imposing presence of Moncayo Massif (Mons Chaunus to the Romans, 2.314 metres) dominates Cascante Mountain Range, the crops and the small resettlement forests.

But exuberance is behind the binoculars and the magnifying glass. With them, you could enjoy the delicate purple and yellow flowers of the aromatic plants and thistles. You will discover the surprising forms of the lichens in the rocks. You will see one, two, three rabbits in the brooms and the crawling birds hiding in the grooves on the  land.

You will follow the majestic flight of the vultures and the kite birds while you listen to the rook and the magpie. You will be surprised by the bee-eater and the hoopoe, an evasive fox, the wild orchids or the fig tree that is determined to sprout from a block of stone.

Each season has its surprises.
